Start Date: September 10, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 1:2 patient ratio standard, 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG care

Highlights:

• 26-bed Surgical ICU specializing in trauma, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical critical care
• Advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative team environment with experienced RN staff and dedicated charge nurse support
• Opportunity to work with complex, high-acuity patient populations in a large trauma facility
• Hands-on experience with critical procedures including chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior travel experience in large trauma facilities preferred
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage high-acuity patients efficiently
