Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care – Ohio

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Northeast Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week; 13-24 week contract available

Highlights:

• Work with high-acuity pediatric populations including NICU (Level 4), PICU, and CVICU patients
• Float opportunities to multiple pediatric units including children's rehabilitation and neonatal intensive care settings
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required with focus on pediatric and neonatal critical care
• Active Ohio RRT license, NBRC certification, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Contract extension opportunities available up to 18 months
• Comprehensive orientation with billable training modules provided

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in hand at time of application
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) certification – active and current
• BLS, Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications – all active
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with demonstrated expertise in NICU, PICU, and pediatric care
• Experience providing high-level critical care in Level 4 NICU environments required
• Two professional references from manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Nicotine-free status required; nicotine screening conducted
• Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) – no license hits accepted
