Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical / Ortho Trauma – Texas

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Lewisville, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Patient ratio 1:6 | 32-bed unit

Highlights:

• Ortho Trauma and Medical-Surgical unit with dedicated admission/discharge team support
• Collaborative staffing model with RNs, LVNs, and PCTs on every shift
• Meditech EMR system with Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital sign equipment
• May float to Surgical Telemetry or Inpatient Rehab units as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Strong department culture with supportive, team-oriented staff

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas (or eligible for multi-state compact)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience preferred
• Experience with patient ambulation and wound care
