Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, Days (0700-1930). Block scheduling may be accommodated based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• Patient ratios of 1:6-7, providing manageable workload in a supportive environment
• Primarily orthopedic unit with medical-surgical and telemetry overflow
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• 42-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and more
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• Pre-start modules required; pending Alabama RN license accepted at time of submission

Requirements:

• Active or pending Alabama RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience in large healthcare facilities
• BLS and NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 90 miles from facility location
• Navy blue scrubs required
