Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry / Progressive Care RN – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 5:1 patient ratio across all shifts, every other weekend required, no call required, floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• 33-bed progressive care unit specializing in cardiac telemetry and stepdown care
• Case mix includes Chest Pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, cardiac catheterization, TEE, cardioversions, stress tests, pacemakers, AMI, Afib, CHF, bradycardia, AICD insertion, and arrhythmia management
• Epic charting system preferred; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Contract allows maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday requirement: work major holidays based on assignment length as outlined in facility policy
• 13-week assignment with bi-weekly orientation schedule; full compliance required to start on time

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of progressive care/telemetry nursing experience required; previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Strong experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, and central line/PICC line management
• Proficiency with high flow nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, and tracheostomy care preferred
• Experience with cardiac drip and vasoactive drip titration highly preferred
• Must complete all compliance documents and core items/labs within required timeframes
