Start Date: November 10, 2026 (Orientations held bi-weekly on Mondays)

Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekdays with some weekends; floating as needed within the health system; 72-80 guaranteed hours per pay period

Highlights:

• Work in a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
• Provide respiratory care across critical care and general care settings for adult and pediatric populations
• Experience with Cerner charting system and comprehensive respiratory therapy modalities including BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, mechanical ventilation, and bronchoscopy support
• Block scheduling available and open for consideration (not guaranteed)
• Free parking provided for travelers
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Current West Virginia state license or compact license (pending licenses accepted for submission)
• CRT or RRT certification
• BLS and ACLS required (American Heart Association only); PALS and NALS preferred for pediatric care
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in critical care and general care settings
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (100-mile radius preferred)
• Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
