Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Medical Care Unit – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours per week; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; 16-10 bed unit

Highlights:

• Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) with diverse patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Experience managing patients on Heparin drips required
• Contract assignment with immediate start availability
• Manageable patient ratios in a dynamic acute care environment
• Opportunity to utilize advanced clinical skills in a high-acuity setting

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU or ICU step-down experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated competency with Heparin drip management and titration
