Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 32-bed medical-surgical unit; rotating weekends; day and night shifts available; patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6

Highlights:

• Work within a collaborative team structure including charge nurses, staff nurses, patient care technicians, and unit coordinators
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate and efficient patient documentation
• Standard medical-surgical equipment including IV pumps and vital signs machines
• Float to other medical-surgical areas to support facility needs and expand clinical experience
• Professional dress code with navy scrubs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience with Meditech EMR is required
• Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with hourly rounding and AIDET communication principles is preferred
