Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 26, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36-hour orientation period; 1:1 patient ratios on days and nights; float required to Antepartum and other units within the health system as needed

Highlights:

• Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM
• Epic charting system experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency in core L&D skills including vaginal delivery, cesarean section support, circulating for C-sections, fetal monitoring (internal and external), antepartum care, postpartum care, and high-risk obstetrical management
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; Charge RN acceptable as second reference
• Former employees eligible after 6 months separation from facility
• Ohio fingerprinting required and must be completed immediately upon contract signing
