Start Date: November 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, weekdays with every other weekend

Highlights:

• 13-week contract with strong potential for extension
• Work with adult and forensic behavioral health populations
• Patient ratios: 1:15-20 depending on unit assignment
• Avatar EMR system; scrubs provided by facility
• Comprehensive orientation including CPI and First Aid training provided on-site
• Interdisciplinary team support including pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact state license; pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
• Current BCLS certification (AHA required)
• CPI and First Aid (can be obtained during orientation)
• Experience with behavioral health diagnoses including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use, and trauma-related disorders
• Skills in medication administration, physical hold protocols, seclusion procedures, and blood glucose monitoring
• Minimum of 3 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• First-time travelers welcome; travel experience not required

Important Onboarding Requirements:

• West Virginia state fingerprinting must be completed 7-10 business days prior to start date (results take 5-7 days to process)
• Candidates must be available to travel early to complete fingerprinting in-state
• Approximately 8 hours of online modules must be completed before orientation (non-billable)
• Orientation held on Mondays from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
