Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Mixed shift schedule including 2x12-hour shifts (10:45 AM - 11:15 PM) and 2x8-hour shifts (10:45 AM - 7:15 PM). Approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations per month. Additional shifts may be available based on departmental needs.

• Comprehensive surgical services including General OR, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures

• 40-hour orientation period with structured onboarding
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Floating within scope and call coverage required based on facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated expertise in total joint replacement, neuro, transplant, vascular, and general surgery procedures
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma surgical cases
• BLS certification required; TNCC preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Valid professional references and certification documentation required

Procedure Experience Required:

• General Surgery: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery, thyroidectomy, Whipple procedures
• Neuro: spinal fusion, anterior and lumbar fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, cervical procedures
• Orthopedic: total hip and total knee replacements, fracture procedures, spine cases, arthroscopic surgeries
• Vascular: carotid endarterectomy, carotid angioplasty and stenting, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
• Trauma: gunshot/stab wounds, multiple trauma injuries (MVA)
