Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Operating Room – Pennsylvania

Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available; call required approximately 6 weekday shifts and 2 weekend call rotations per schedule period; floating required based on facility needs

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center with approximately 14 operating rooms serving adult and geriatric populations
• Diverse surgical service including General OR, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures
• High-acuity surgical cases including trauma, total joint replacement, spinal fusion, and complex vascular procedures
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• 40-hour orientation period with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, TNCC, and PaTNCC certifications required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Strong proficiency in General OR, Total Joint, Neuro, Transplant, and Vascular procedures required
• Experience with common procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery, and thyroidectomy
• Neuro experience including spinal fusion, craniotomy, and laminectomy/discectomy
• Orthopedic experience including total hip and knee replacements, fracture procedures, and spine cases
• Vascular experience including carotid procedures, AV fistula repair, femoral-popliteal bypass, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
• Valid references and current certification copies required at time of submission
• PA fingerprints and childline clearance required (must be completed within specified timeframes)
