Travel Recreational Therapist Opportunity
Assignment Details – Recreational/Activty Therapy
- Specialty: Behavioral Health
- Location: The Ridge Behavioral Health in Lexington, KY
- Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Days, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable
- Weekly rate: $2,207 - $2,499
- Bi-weekly pay
- Paid travel to/from assignment

- Develop and implement recreational therapy treatment plans
- Attend the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Provide therapy consistent with level of growth, development, age, and functioning
- Contribute to program design within the recreational therapy department

Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation
- Licensure/Certification: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
- Experience: at least one year of inpatient mental health experience
- Will also consider a Music or Art Therapist who is board certified in Kentucky; Music Therapist must have Bachelor's degree and Art Therapist must have a Master's degree.
