Travel Therapist Opportunity
Assignment Details – Licensed Social Worker/Counselor
- Specialty: Behavioral Health
- Location: Youngstown, OH
- Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule, weekend coverage may be needed
- Shift: Day shift
- Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable
- Bi-weekly pay
- Estimated pay rate: $2,122-$2,392/week

Travel Therapist Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers.
- Conduct individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy per program needs.
- Complete assessments, contribute to the master treatment plan, and ensure the discharge planning is complete and discharge summaries.
- Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team.
- Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
- Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
- Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.
Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Counseling
- Licensure/Certifications: licensed in the state of Ohio as a LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC
- Experience: Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred. Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12) and adolescent (ages 13-18) populations.
