● About Facility:
• 489 State St., Bangor, ME 04401
• Level II Trauma Center – receives air flights in (serve 2/3 of State; closest trauma center within a 2 hr radius)
• Certified Stroke Center
• Bed: 411
● General Information:
• Three Varian TrueBeam Linacs, 1 Siemans Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes – depending on type of experience, preferable with Mosaiq and/or Varian experience.
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types:
• Care areas: Outpatient & Inpatient
• Primarily Adult/Geriatrics with very few Peds
● Patients seen in a day (average per day):
• 90 over three linacs
● Required Licensure and Certifications:
• BLS
• ARRT (T) required
• ME State license for Radiation Therapy
● Skills required:
• Preferred Mosaiq experience
• Preferred TrueBeam experience
● Technology/Equipment:
• EMR: Mosaiq
• Equipment: Varian Linacs
● Floating: If yes, where?
• As needed covering linacs
● Orientation:
• 1-1.5 weeks, based on experience/comfort level
● Scheduling:
• No weekends
• No call
• Holiday Expectations: done in rotation with other techs
• RTO: Manager Approval
• Schedule:
▪ 4 week schedules to best of ability
▪ Specific shift will vary based on need – specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this)
● Other notes:
• Scrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed
• Parking: Free
