Description

Unit/Specialty: CT/XRAY we use Cannon (Toshiba Aquillion Prime)
License & Certifications Required: North Dakota State License (NDMIRT), . CT Registry NOT required. Experience will do. Must have experience with IV. BLS Req.
Experience Required: CT/XRAY Must have recent X-Ray Exp.
Additional Experience Preferred: C-arm would be helpful. Small team of 3. At times, will be working by themselves and will be charge during those times.
Start Date: first week of April
Shift/Hours per Week: 8a-5:15p M-F with a half day off
Any Call or Float?:Yes, minimum of 1 week per month, could possibly have a 2nd weekend with the 5-weekend month. Plan to take weekday call and holiday call. 20 minute call back time.
EMR/Charting System: Thrive

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, following safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.

Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician review and diagnosis.

Verify patient identity and review medical history prior to procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Perform routine quality control checks on equipment.

Comply with all federal, state, and facility-specific guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred or required (depending on state).

CPR certification.

Strong communication skills and patient care abilities.

Proficiency in using medical imaging software and technology.
