Travel Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) - Acute Care

CMD Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Medical Dosimetrist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Berkeley, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your medical dosimetry skills while advancing your career as a CMD. The travel assignment will entail generating a clinically acceptable radiation therapy treatment plan for cancer patients. You will work closely with the radiation oncology team to ensure the prescribed dose of radiation is delivered optimally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing radiation treatment plans to deliver precise levels of radiation doses with optimal beam geometry.
• Perform calculations to ensure accurate delivery of the prescribed radiation dose.
• Document all pertinent information in patient records.
• Provide support and assistance to the medical physicist.

• Certified by the MDCB
• Current BLS/CPR certification
