Description

Sign On Bonus: This position is eligible for a $6000 sign on bonus payable after hire. This bonus is eligible for newly hired external applicants. Current AAH Team Members are not eligible at this time.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited surgical tech program~O.R. scrub experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills
  • Certified Surgical Technician or acceptable equivalent training
  • CPR certified
  • Must be willing to work with exposures to body fluids radiation and waste anesthesia gases hazardous materials and life threatening diseases
  • On~call availability (nights weekends and holidays)
  • Ability to move heavy patients and equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to communicate while wearing a mask and not facing others
  • Able to respond quickly in emergencies and function under stress
  • Ability to work at different table heights
  • If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds or when patient is unable to assist with the lift patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis
