Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized 2D and 3D digital mammography equipment to perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while delivering exceptional patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality 2D/3D screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with established protocols and MQSA standards
Assist radiologists during diagnostic procedures, including breast ultrasounds, stereotactic biopsies, and wire localizations
Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients, obtain clinical histories, and position patients comfortably to optimize image quality
Maintain accurate patient records, document clinical findings, and manage image transfer in PACS/RIS systems
Perform routine quality control (QC) testing on mammography equipment to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Provide a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for patients undergoing breast health evaluations

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
Licensure: Active ARRT certification with primary endorsement in Radiography (R) and post-primary certification in Mammography (M)
State Licensing: Active state radiologic technologist license or state mammography permit, where applicable
Certifications: Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compliance: Full compliance with current MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements and continuing education credits
