License

State license in Washington

Description

Minimum Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job specialty, BLS certification, and any applicable state licensure or specialty certifications required for the role.

As an RRT, also known as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, or Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment
Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
Perform pulmonary assessments and diagnostic testing
Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans
Provide emergency respiratory care in critical situations

Requirements:

NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT credential
BLS certification
ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on facility
Previous critical care or acute care respiratory experience preferred
