ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Nashville, TN 37207 (Tennessee travel nursing)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Employment Type: Travel (W2)

• Shift: Nights, 19:00–07:00
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1470 – $1570
• Unit: 31-bed MICU
• Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1 (may be 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity/staffing)
• Documentation: Meditech
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms)

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements – MICU / Critical Care

• Experience: ICU RN / critical care nursing experience required
• Active RN license (state or compact where applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comfortable caring for critically ill patients using advanced ICU equipment (e.g., ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV1000)
• Ability to meet scheduling expectations, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule (4-week scheduling increments; partial self-scheduling with manager balancing)
• Willingness to float when needed; contract staff may float first, including to med/surg if required

MICU RN Responsibilities (Travel Nursing)

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to MICU patients and family members
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient care needs in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Support and assist with unit procedures as applicable, including central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Document accurately and efficiently in Meditech to support continuity of care and patient safety
• Float to other units as needed based on facility expectations, including med/surg when required
