• Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) / Labor & Delivery Nurse / OB Nurse
• Location: Fergus Falls, MN 56537 (On-site) — Minnesota nursing jobs, Fergus Falls nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 16, 2026 – June 15, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,440 – $2,570 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (option for straight nights negotiable)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Care Setting: Acute care – Labor & Delivery Unit (maternal and newborn care)
• Charting System: Allscripts EMR (experience preferred)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, W2 employment

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license: Minnesota license or RN licensure compact (NLC)
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (travel RN experience a plus)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certification
• Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including continuous fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart tracings (fetal monitoring).
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, obstetric procedures, and emergency interventions as needed.
• Deliver newborn care and stabilization following NRP guidelines; support initial breastfeeding and postpartum education.
• Document accurately in Allscripts EMR and follow unit policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, discharge planning, and local community resources.
