Certified Nursing Assistant Job Details

• Location: Kapaa, Hawaii (96746) – Explore the natural beauty and vibrant culture of Kauai while working in a supportive healthcare environment.
• Assignment Type: Travel CNA – Long-Term Care
• Start Date: October 11, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 32 hours)
• Shift: Flexible 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 – $1,910

CNA Qualifications and Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Hawaii or compact state preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in hospital, long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare settings
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
• Willingness to provide care in various units (SNF, ICF, medical, surgical, home care) as needed

CNA Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care following established nursing procedures and protocols
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
• Support nursing staff in multiple care units and adapt to diverse patient populations
• Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all patients
• Provide home healthcare services as assigned
