Top Qualifications (LPN Requirements)

• Active LPN license (Maine or compact state) — Maine LPN jobs and compact-licensed LPNs encouraged to apply
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or LTC experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and commit to the full 10-week travel contract
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
• Experience with medication administration, documentation, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Key Responsibilities — Long-Term Care Nurse (LPN)

• Provide direct patient care and skilled nursing support to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility protocols and safety standards
• Monitor resident health, document assessments and changes, and promptly communicate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social services) to promote quality outcomes
• Assist residents with ADLs while promoting dignity, independence, and a resident-centered approach
