• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,760 – $2,960
• Location: Morgantown, WV 26506 (Morgantown radiology jobs / West Virginia travel healthcare)
• Assignment Type: Travel / Contract Radiology Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks (March 16, 2026 – June 15, 2026)
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM); 40 hours/week guaranteed
• Call Requirements: 1–2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend; possible holiday call; 30-minute callback expectation
• Scrubs: Provided by facility
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Radiologic Technologist experience required; Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred for Travel IR Technologist roles
• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Traveler or agency must provide radiation badge
• Experience with Canon, Siemens, or GE angiography/imaging equipment preferred
• Proficiency in neuro IR procedures highly desirable: cerebral angiography, coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, carotid stenting
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes
• Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient care skills for hospital radiology settings
• Must meet facility-specific submission requirements (see unit notes for details)

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures supporting vascular and neuro IR cases as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Prepare IR suite, assemble procedural supplies, maintain sterile technique and enforce radiation safety protocols
• Assist physicians with imaging acquisition, device handling, contrast administration, and optimal patient positioning
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ECG, and blood pressure during procedures
• Document procedures accurately and promptly in EPIC to meet charting, billing, and compliance standards
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergent interventional procedures with a 30-minute callback expectation
• Serve on the hospital code team and assist with resuscitative measures as needed
• Provide clinical instruction to radiography students on positioning, technique selection, and equipment operation
• Engage in continuing education, in-service training, and department performance improvement initiatives
• Support inventory management and uphold patient confidentiality, radiation safety, and ARRT practice standards
