Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Night Shift in Bradenton, FL. 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center (Feb 10, 2026 – May 12, 2026) providing ICU-level ventilator management, advanced respiratory care, and competitive W2 pay.

Job Details

• Location: Bradenton, FL 34209 (Bradenton respiratory therapy jobs, Tampa Bay / Sarasota area)
• Facility: Level II Trauma Center – Respiratory Unit (383-bed hospital)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (February 10, 2026 – May 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) — Night Shift Respiratory Therapist
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,220 – $1,310 (W2 Travel Respiratory Therapist)
• Employment Type: Travel, W2
• Parking: On-site parking garage

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP or STABLE certification required (neonatal experience preferred)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist; ICU / critical care experience preferred
• Meditech EMR proficiency preferred (documentation in Meditech)
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Strong mechanical ventilation and arterial blood gas (ABG) assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients—Respiratory Therapist in ICU and med-surg settings
• Manage mechanical ventilation, implement weaning protocols, and monitor ABGs
• Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment: Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm
• Perform pulmonary assessments, airway management, oxygen therapy, and therapeutic respiratory treatments as ordered
• Respond to rapid response events and codes as part of the emergency response team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all care and interventions in Meditech EMR in a timely manner
