Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Minimum 1 year recent experience as an RRT in a hospital setting (hospital respiratory therapist experience preferred)
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and respond to clinical emergencies
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills within multidisciplinary care teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care and patient-focused clinical services in a hospital environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and document respiratory therapy interventions and patient response
• Provide ventilator management and support, including mechanical ventilation setup, monitoring, and weaning (as appropriate to facility policies)
• Perform airway management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication administration, suctioning, and ABG analysis support
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and ventilators
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize respiratory care
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support as needed
