Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy nursing experience (GI experience preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to work scheduled 10-hour day shifts, 4 days/week
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- COVID vaccination may be declined
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures and communicate changes to the care team
- Prepare and assist physicians and allied health professionals in the endoscopy suite
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record
- Deliver patient and family education on procedures, expectations, and post-procedure care
- Support a positive, collaborative team culture focused on patient safety and satisfaction
