• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300
• Location: Germantown, TN 38138 (Memphis area) — Tennessee LPN travel job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) — Med/Surg LPN night shift
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Medical Surgical (3 Pavilion)
• Patient Ratio: 1:7 (team nursing model with support from PCC, RN, etc.)
• Weekend & On-Call: As needed

Job Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines compliance required)
• IV Certified — firm requirement (IV start competency for Med/Surg LPN travel roles)
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg LPN experience (3+ years preferred); first-time travelers accepted only with 3+ years recent Med/Surg LPN experience
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Telemetry experience and IV start skills required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic health record experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical surgical setting
• Administer medications safely, monitor patient status, and perform IV starts and IV therapy
• Monitor telemetry and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and other clinical team members
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner (preferred) and follow hospital charting standards
• Participate in team nursing to support higher patient ratios with assistance from PCCs and RNs
• Float within similar units as needed and work weekends/holidays per contract
