Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab Rad Tech / Cath Lab Tech) – ARRT required
• Location: Bullhead City, Arizona (Bullhead City, AZ 86442) – travel contract / Arizona cardiac cath lab jobs
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel contract)
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour days (06:45 – 17:15)
• On-Call Requirements: 2–3 days per week and every 3rd weekend (Sat, Sun, Mon) – STEMI call responsiveness required
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Hospital Cardiac Cath Lab; working with interventional cardiology teams

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Tech (3 years preferred) – cath lab experience strongly preferred
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) / X-ray certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari)
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes for STEMI call
• Strong critical thinking, patient monitoring, and emergency response skills
• Experience with XPER EMR system or similar cath lab documentation tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and imaging leadership with performance of invasive cardiac imaging studies in the Cath Lab
• Circulate and monitor patients during interventional cardiac procedures; maintain patient ratio of 3:1
• Operate and maintain high-risk circulatory support devices including Impella, IABP, and Anari
• Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in emergent STEMI and high-risk cases
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and department policies; wear light blue scrubs as required
• Document procedures and patient care accurately using XPER EMR
