Qualifications / Job Requirements

We are looking for a Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse (RN) with clinical leadership experience in critical care. Ideal candidates will match the requirements below:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 5+ years of nursing managerial experience at a Level I or II facility strongly preferred
• Critical Care / ICU clinical experience required (experience as ICU Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Leader, or Charge Nurse preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license prior to hire
• Current BLS certification required; professional certification (e.g., CCRN, CNML) preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RNFA or first-assist training preferred for first assist duties
• Willingness to float to other units and pick up additional shifts as needed during the contract. Nurse Manager may be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Manager (RN) in Nursing Administration you will provide nursing leadership and clinical management to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care:

• Plan, lead, and manage staff to deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
• Provide day-to-day and 24-hour management of patient care delivery including hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, counseling, and coaching of nursing staff
• Serve as a change agent and transitional leader—set a shared vision, motivate staff, and support a culture of lifelong learning and evidence-based practice
• Maintain positive relationships with physicians, hospital departments, and the community to support clinical outcomes and operational goals
• Design and deliver nursing education programs; support staff development and critical thinking in clinical practice
• Support organizational goals by ensuring efficient, effective, and consistent patient care services and appropriate staffing
• Provide hands-on patient care when unit demands require (clinical backup and charge nurse duties)
• Participate in call coverage, weekends, and holiday shifts as required by the unit
