Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery and Nursery RN experience, including couplet care (Mother/Baby experience)
• Current Hawaii RN license required
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills
• Ability to float to assist other departments as needed (not as primary nurse)
• Reference checks required (via email)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns: labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery care
• Deliver couplet care for approximately 45–50 deliveries per month (Mother/Baby RN duties)
• Perform intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring and assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes
• May be assigned charge nurse duties (additional compensation applies)
• Float to assist other departments as needed
