Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Operating Room RN experience (both scrubbing and circulating required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (permanent or compact RN license accepted)
• American Heart Association BLS certification (active, not pending)
• At least one supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced OR environment

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties for a variety of surgical cases, including robotic surgery, GU, GYN, and general surgery
• Ensure accurate sponge/instrument counts and proper specimen handling for pathology and labs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Participate in call rotations on nights and weekends as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and safety standards
• Complete required orientation and annual training modules; demonstrate competency in perioperative protocols
