Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670
- Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 (Tucson healthcare jobs; Arizona cath lab jobs)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 4 shifts per week
- On Call: 9-10 shifts/month and 1 weekend
- Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (Cath Lab technologist experience)
- Active ARRT certification required (RCIS certifications will not be accepted)
- Proficiency in sterile technique and scrubbing cath lab procedures: angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, Left Main, PFO), device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR/peripheral cases
- STEMI coverage experience required or strongly preferred
- Experience operating and assisting with Impella and IABP devices
- Structural Heart experience preferred but not required
- Ability to monitor/record on MacLab; willing to train on MacLab use
- Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock rooms; inventory management skills
- Any solid color scrub attire
Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor invasive radiological and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Maintain and enforce sterile technique during all procedures
- Provide STEMI coverage and rapid response in emergent cath lab situations
- Operate and assist with Impella, IABP, and other cardiac support devices
- Record and monitor procedures using MacLab; collaborate with physician and nursing team
- Restock procedure rooms, maintain supply inventory, and ensure readiness of cath lab equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
