Travel Oncology RN opportunity in Boston, MA — Radiation Oncology role in the Longwood Medical Area; active MA RN license and oncology experience required. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts (02115) — Longwood Medical Area
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM), rotating schedule
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience (Radiation Oncology experience required for one position; preferred for the other)
- Procedural oncology experience required for one position; brachytherapy experience preferred for one position
- Ability to work rotating day shifts and adapt to staggered schedules
- Compliance with onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, references, and license verification
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy and other cancer treatments
- Assist with procedural tasks and support brachytherapy procedures as needed (brachytherapy nurse duties where applicable)
- Monitor patient progress, assess treatment response, and provide education on radiation therapy plans and side effect management
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safety and regulatory standards within the unit
- Adapt to rotating and staggered shift schedules common to travel nursing assignments
