Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
• Location: Tukwila, WA (serving Seattle & Shoreline; Seattle metro, King County)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nurse assignment)
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (09:00–19:30), posted 4 weeks in advance
• Weekend Rotation: One weekend every four weeks
• Setting: On-site home hospice visits and travel within assigned territory

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (WA)
• Minimum 1 year of hospice and admissions experience (hospice nursing or palliative care)
• Proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) electronic medical record system
• Strong clinical assessment, symptom management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in home hospice settings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hospice admissions, comprehensive patient assessments, and ongoing home hospice visits
• Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on comfort, symptom control, and family-centered care
• Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplaincy, and other team members across the Seattle/Shoreline area
• Provide compassionate end-of-life support, education, and bereavement resources to patients and families
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and billing using HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotation and on-call duties as assigned
