Assignment Details
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel / Hospital Respiratory Therapist
- Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (81601)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 24, 2026 – June 23, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140
- Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit (critical care, ventilator management)
- Shifts: 2 x 12-hour day shifts/week (24 guaranteed hours/week)
- Housing: Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio & 1-bedroom apartments available near the hospital (based on availability)

Required Qualifications
- NBRC RRT Certification required (CRT not accepted)
- Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including adult, pediatric, and Level 2 NICU
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT)
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Advanced NRP (AAP)
- Strong experience with ventilator management, critical care, and a full range of acuity levels
- Experienced travelers only — not considering first-time travelers
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Manage critical care patients and ventilators, including support in Level 2 NICU settings
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform advanced respiratory therapy procedures and demonstrate expertise in airway management
- Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
