• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN) / Critical Care Nurse – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (primarily nights; some days; every 3rd weekend required)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Location: Fergus Falls, MN 56537 (Minnesota nursing jobs / Fergus Falls healthcare)

Job Requirements (ICU RN Qualifications)

• Active RN license (willing to wait for state licensure if needed)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (critical care nurse experience preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC
• Ability to float to Med-Surg as needed
• Comfortable with rotating 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend scheduling

Responsibilities (ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse Duties)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU (ICU RN responsibilities)
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 and prioritize patient safety
• Administer and titrate drips (Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, vasopressors)
• Manage patients on Hamilton C-1 ventilators and provide ventilator care
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document care using Paragon-Hospital and Allscripts TouchWorks-Clinis EMR systems
• Respond to a range of diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, and non-STEMI
• Complete floor-specific orientation (typically 1–2 shifts) and adhere to hospital policies, including holiday/weekend coverage
