• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
• Location: Akron, OH 44307 (Akron travel nursing job; Ohio OR RN jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
• Start Date: May 15, 2026
• Shifts: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am – 7:30pm); other possible shifts include 7:00am – 3:00pm and 7:30am – 5:30pm
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse position

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR circulator required; scrub/sterile technique experience preferred)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the OR specialty required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start

Key Responsibilities

• Function as an OR RN circulator for a variety of surgical cases; ensure safe, efficient perioperative nursing care
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care and surgical preparation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to facilitate safe procedures
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and perioperative safety protocols
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Participate in orientation and complete required facility modules for travel nurses
