- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 – $1,310
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active CRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Respiratory Therapist experience (ICU, ED, and general floors required)
- Basic NICU and Pediatrics experience to support ED coverage as needed
- Strong skills in ventilator management, airway maintenance, intubation support, and blood gas analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients
- Manage ventilators, obtain and interpret arterial blood gases, and respond to critical care needs
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive airway procedures and respiratory interventions
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and perform pulmonary treatments
- Maintain airways, support intubations, and follow hospital protocols and department policies
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff
