Job Details (Travel Nurse - ER RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 — New Mexico nursing jobs / Santa Fe healthcare
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night shift ER RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On Call Requirement: Voluntary
• Floating Requirement: Yes — may float to other units during low census
• Role Type: Travel Nurse / Emergency Department RN / ER RN

Required Qualifications (ER Nurse / Registered Nurse)

• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing (ER) experience — trauma and acute care experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification (AHA)
• PALS Certification (AHA) or ENPC
• TNCC or ATCN required (Trauma Nursing Core Course / Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses)
• CPI or equivalent de-escalation/safety training preferred
• Ability to manage emergency/crisis situations, perform physically demanding tasks, and work a fast-paced ED environment

Key Responsibilities (Emergency Department RN)

• Provide safe, efficient patient care for ED patients across the lifespan, consistent with emergency nursing standards
• Perform triage, assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of acute and trauma patients
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol and physician orders
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary staff, patients, and families
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Adapt to varied shifts, high-acuity situations, and floating assignments to other units as needed
• Participate in quality improvement, unit safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development in emergency nursing
