- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 (Competitive Travel Nurse Pay)

- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — night shift med/surg telemetry
- Hours per Week: 36
- Float Pool: Must be willing to float between Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Scrub Color: Any color
- EMR: Cerner (Cerner EMR experience required)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Arizona RN license (Arizona RN)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (Med/Surg Tele RN, Telemetry Nurse)
- Cerner EMR experience required (electronic medical record experience)
- Willingness and ability to float between departments and facilities (float pool travel nurse)
- Strong telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and clinical assessment skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Perform continuous telemetry and cardiac monitoring; recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and alarms
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care
- Perform focused patient assessments, medication administration, IV/infusion management, and documentation in Cerner
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
- Delegate and prioritize patient care based on staff education and experience; direct and supervise assigned personnel
- Adapt to floating between multiple departments and facilities and manage changing patient populations
