PACU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment – Midtown Atlanta, GA | 13-week travel nurse role for experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RNs with BLS & ACLS. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,780
• Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 9:00am – 5:30pm, 32 hours per week (4 days/week)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours weekly
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site (PACU travel assignment)
• No weekends or holidays required
• Urgent need – immediate start!

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant specialty/perioperative nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Experience with orthopedic (ortho), plastics, general, colorectal, and GYN surgeries preferred
• Open to travel nurses — no local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage airway/respiratory needs, and respond promptly to post-operative complications
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and perioperative teams to ensure safe handoffs and patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patient and family education on post-operative care, pain management, and discharge instructions
