Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $2,010 (competitive pay for travel technologist)
• Healthcare Setting: Holly Springs Imaging Center
• Location: Canton, GA 30115 — serving Cherokee County
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Shift: 8-hour days, 5 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist / Mammography Tech

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mammography (screening and diagnostic)
• Valid ARRT (Mammography) certification — ARRT Mammography required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Official documentation of at least 200 completed mammography exams in the last 24 months (signed by leadership)
• 15 breast-specific CEUs in the last 3 years
• 8 hours of documented digital mammography training
• 8 hours of documented 3D/tomo (tomosynthesis/DBT) training
• Documented 40 hours of mammography training and initial 25 supervised exams
• Familiarity with MQSA standards and quality control procedures preferred
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including 2D digital and 3D tomosynthesis (DBT)
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning for optimal breast imaging
• Operate and maintain digital mammography and 3D/tomo equipment; perform routine QC checks
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of all exams per ACR/MQSA requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, breast imaging specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Support a positive team environment and assist with patient education and follow-up processes
• Stay current with breast imaging best practices, continuing education, and ARRT mammography standards
