• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 – $1,700

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience (clinical magnetic resonance imaging experience preferred)
• ARRT (MR) certification required / registry in Magnetic Resonance (ARRT(MR))
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Graduation from an accredited radiography/MRI program; state radiographer license preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations following radiology department protocols and Radiologist direction
• Adjust imaging parameters and protocols for studies of brain, spine, soft tissue, joints, extremities, and vascular imaging with or without contrast
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and positioning; screen patients for contraindications to MRI/contrast agents
• Communicate findings and collaborate with Radiologists, technologists, and the broader healthcare team to support excellent patient care
• Ensure timely documentation, image archiving, and adherence to departmental safety and infection control policies
