Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
• Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or nursing leadership experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and nurse leadership for nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and orientees
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans within 8 hours of admission
• Promote patient and employee safety by enforcing hospital safety policies and evidence-based practices
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team conferences, care coordination, and patient rehabilitation planning
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education beginning on admission to support smooth transitions of care
• Delegate tasks appropriately, provide training, mentorship, and direction to ancillary staff and nursing team members
• Foster a positive, efficient work environment through team building, effective communication, and conflict resolution
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuing education and professional development
