Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,690 – $2,890
- Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma, Teaching Facility
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 17:30)
- Call: About one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
- Location: Portland, OR 97227 — Portland healthcare / travel cath lab job
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Angio experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Cath Lab Technologist
- Scrub experience required (cardiac, neuro, or related interventional service lines)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- RCIS certification and OBMI (Oregon state license) required
- Fluoroscopy and interventional radiology proficiency preferred
- Ability to float within the site and across the system as needed
- Complete assigned education modules within one week of assignment
- No felony background; professional references required
- Must not live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility (site requirement)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first scrub in complex cardiac interventions, including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, and vascular procedures
- Support IABP and Impella insertion and management during procedures
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including Philips Azurion systems and related fluoroscopy tools
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, stock supplies, and ensure accurate equipment setup for interventional cases
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in the cath lab
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Epic electronic health record
- Participate in on-call rotation and float to other units as requested
