Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,690 – $2,890
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma, Teaching Facility
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 17:30)
• Call: About one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Location: Portland, OR 97227 — Portland healthcare / travel cath lab job
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Angio experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Cath Lab Technologist
• Scrub experience required (cardiac, neuro, or related interventional service lines)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• RCIS certification and OBMI (Oregon state license) required
• Fluoroscopy and interventional radiology proficiency preferred
• Ability to float within the site and across the system as needed
• Complete assigned education modules within one week of assignment
• No felony background; professional references required
• Must not live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility (site requirement)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as first scrub in complex cardiac interventions, including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, and vascular procedures
• Support IABP and Impella insertion and management during procedures
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including Philips Azurion systems and related fluoroscopy tools
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, stock supplies, and ensure accurate equipment setup for interventional cases
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in the cath lab
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Epic electronic health record
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to other units as requested
