• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940 (competitive travel pay)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Various shift options available, including 10-hour day shifts (7:00am–5:30pm, 11:00am–9:30pm) and flex shifts of 36 hours (7:00am–7:30pm, 11:00am–11:30pm).
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – inpatient and outpatient surgical services

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist / Surgical Technician in the OR or perioperative setting
• National Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• New Hampshire medical technologist or surgical technologist license (must apply upon acceptance if not already held)
• Experience with sterile technique, instrumentation, and perioperative patient care across all ages (neonate, pediatric, adult, geriatric)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist scrubbed and circulating roles for a wide variety of cases: ENT, general, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral/maxillofacial, neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
• Prepare and set up operating rooms, sterile instruments, and specialized equipment for procedures
• Ensure proper instrumentation, sterile counts, and supply availability for efficient OR turnover
• Support surgeons and the perioperative team during intraoperative procedures, including robotics and specialty cases
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies and OR protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care and support before, during, and after surgery
