• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,570

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting (acute care or ICU experience preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hour schedule)
• Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive respiratory care, ventilator management, and patient transport as prescribed
• Evaluate patients and recommend individualized respiratory treatment plans
• Administer physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using ventilatory, oxygen, and aerosol equipment
• Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function studies
• Assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy support, chest tube management, and tracheostomy care
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling (arterial punctures), EKGs, and basic arrhythmia recognition
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and ventilator settings accurately in the electronic medical record
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team members during shift handoffs
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ventilators as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and the respiratory therapy department
