Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 - $1,750
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Northeast Ohio)
• Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Unit (acute care, ventilator/ICU support)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (options for 8 or 12 weeks)
• Shift: Night shifts, 4x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30); 4 shifts per week

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist (acute care/hospital preferred)
• Active NBRC certification (CRT or RRT accepted; RRT preferred)
• Valid Ohio RRT license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active AHA BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (from assignments within the past 12 months)
• Nicotine-free (smoke-free facility) and negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and neuro diagnostics for adult and/or pediatric patients in a hospital setting
• Manage ventilators, perform ventilator checks, and deliver advanced airway management and aerosol therapies
• Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with pulmonary function testing as needed
• Respond to codes and rapid responses as part of the interdisciplinary critical care team
• Float to other Cleveland facilities as required to support respiratory services
• Participate in orientation, competency validation, and annual mandatory training modules
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and documentation best practices
• Communicate scheduling, shift availability, and time-off requests during submission and interview
